AIR DUCTS

“WAELCON” company production offers and accepts orders for producing round, square, and rectangular air ducts made of galvanized steel (up to 1mm thickness), stainless steel (up to 0,9mm thickness), and rough steel (up to 2mm thickness). Production of air ducts are carried out in accordance with the GOST (state standard) and Construction Norms and Regulations.

Air ducts are an inseparable part of any duct ventilation system. Air ducts are made from different types of plastic and metal.  But the most common material used in the production of air ducts include sheet galvanized steel.

Galvanized air ducts are widely used and easy to maintain. Galvanized steel can be smoothly cut, transformed, stretched, and pressed, acquiring any form, while the zinс coating protects it against corrosion. The uniqueness of zinc coating consists in fact that even in case of mechanical damage (at cutting lines or fixing points), a firm oxide layer is formed due to the galvanic pair of zinc and steel to protect the steel core from corrosion. This is why you can cut the galvanized air ducts during installation without fear of damaging the protective coating.

Compared to analogs, air ducts from sheet galvanized steel have several advantages: durability, multipurposeness, wide operation temperature range, and corrosion resistance.

Production of galvanized air ducts goes simultaneously with manufacturing of the accessories such as branches, reducers, bends, duct cleats, etc., for their installation.

Currently, the production of square, rectangular, and round galvanized air ducts is organized.

In some cases, it is feasible to install air ducts from stainless steel, for example, at chemical facilities, where air can be (locally) severely polluted with acid fumes and corrosive gas. Common types of metal may have a short life in such an environment. At the same time, stainless steel air ducts are pretty resilient to aggressive environments and, as a rule, serve longer than their “black” or galvanized analogs.

The production process of air ducts from steel sheets includes cutting, rolling, and jointing into a single outline. The jointing can be either folded or welded.

Air ducts of 1,4mm steel thickness are connected with slip joints, which are bent and interconnected in edges of the sheets.

Installing a high-quality ventilation system is one of the necessary conditions for a comfortable environment. Ventilation efficiency to a large extent depends on the characteristics of the equipment and components used, both in industrial and residential premises.

Air duct is a key element of the system allowing free air circulation through the communication systems.

Air ducts manufactured by our company ensure:

  •  Heat and sound insulation;
  •  Tightness;
  •  Reliability and durability of the construction;
  •  Best compactness ratio.

It is necessary to consider such indicators as the manufacturing material and element construction, shape and section of the channel of the air duct to meet all the requirements of the premises best correspondent to a specific ventilation system.

“WAELCON” company manufactures and accepts orders for:

  • Galvanized steel round air ducts;
  • Galvanized steel rectangular and square air ducts;
  • Stainless steel air ducts of any shape;
  • Welded rectangular air ducts from ferrous metal of 1,0-2,0mm thickness;
  • Moulded parts from galvanized and stainless steel;
  • Roof hoods;

Ventilation networks structurally consist of several groups of equipment, each having its purpose – it is not only an extensive system of air ducts but also many moulded details from which production and installation quality depends the reliability, performance, and efficiency of ventilation.
